It’s called a Smoky Maple, and it is very, very tasty. (If you like Islay Whisky and Maple syrup). Some will say too strong, too early, a waste of good Scotch, etc., but I say “Just try it”.

For a Sour, add 1 pasteurized egg white (dry shake).

Recipe

What you need

2 oz Islay single malt peated Scotch whisky
1/4 oz Apricot brandy liqueur
1 spoon Maple Syrup
1/2 oz Orange juice (fresh)
2 dash Chocolate bitters

1 egg white (optional)

What you do

Pre-chill the glass.
Fill a shaker glass with ice and add liquids.
Shake until well chilled.
Fine strain carefully into the serving glass.

Garnish: Orange zest twist
Serve: Sour or coupe
Style: Sour
Taste: Strong, sweet/sour
